Sterilisation

Sterilisation isn’t glamorous — but it’s where we spend more time and care than most practices. The protocol below runs every single day, on every single instrument.

Instruments cycle through a disinfecting ultrasonic bath, then washed, dried, and sterilised in a STATIM steam autoclave.
- 02
Spore-testing is run monthly on every autoclave to confirm 100% sterilisation — a step many practices skip.
- 03
Hard surfaces — countertops, faucets, chair arms — are disinfected twice between patients, first to remove debris, then to sterilise.
- 04
If you'd rather brush or floss before the dentist sits down, just say so. There's a sink for it. No need to feel awkward.
